Got a call from G&J when they arrived in Port Alice. Foiled again - no wireless! They plan to round Cape Scott by Friday, then on to Bull Harbour heading for Port Hardy arriving by Saturday night - they will undoubtedly have internet there. And hopefully won't have to beg for electricity or use multiple extension cords linked end to end just to charge the batteries.
This is wildnerness folks!!!
